This application produces excellent results for machines making heavy basis weights which do not operate with lumpbreakers and at a speed less than 1600 fpm.

Increase dryness of 1.5 to 2 % into dryers.
Up to 80 % reduction in 2 sigma CD moisture.
On speeds higher than 1600 fpm, the centrifugal forces can throw stock onto the bottom of the steam box, resulting in sheet breaks as the lumps fall off.
